​What is Bridges Christian Academy & Co-op?

​A unique hybrid school & co-op for parents wanting to educate their children with biblical values in a like-minded community.
At Bridges Christian Academy & Bridges Connects, our mission is to nurture a Christ-centered koinonia where families grow together in faith, knowledge, and community. We strive to empower parents as their children's primary educators while providing a supportive haven where biblical wisdom, academic growth, and genuine fellowship flourish side by side. We believe God gave us creativity to let that educating be as unique and creative as each family, allowing all who desire to step into the role of parent educator. ​
​Just as the early Church shared all things in common, we share our educational journeys—teaching, learning, and overcoming challenges together. Bridge's calling is to transform education from a solitary or outsourced path into a vibrant, shared pilgrimage where every family is both a giver and a receiver.
Bridges believes that education transcends textbooks. It's about shaping hearts for Christ, minds for truth, and hands for service. In our hybrid school day, weekly gatherings and year-round events, we weave together spiritual growth, academic curiosity, and joyful community, reflecting the wholeness found in Colossians 3:23: 'Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.'
Our community stands as a lighthouse, guiding families through all seasons—from a parent's first tentative steps to a graduate's confident stride. We celebrate every milestone, support every struggle, and rejoice in every achievement, always pointing back to the Master Teacher. More than a support group, we are a living testament to Proverbs 22:6: 'Train up a child in the way he should go.'
​Together, we aren't just educating; we're discipling the next generation to be scholars, believers, and servant-leaders who will shine Christ's light in a world hungry for truth and love. In an age of fragmentation, we're building a tapestry of interconnected lives. Here, the feast of learning is prepared by many hands, the burdens of challenges are borne on many shoulders, and the joy of growth is multiplied in many hearts.

CONNECTS CO-OP

I’m exploring homeschooling/I know I don’t want to, do I have a place with Bridges?

Yes, you certainly have a place with Bridges. Bridges is committed to supporting every parent in their involvement with their child's education, tailored to meet the needs and circumstances of each family.  The core belief of Bridges is that all parents can teach and train their children, but how this looks is unique to the family.  It is not required to be a full-time homeschool family to be a part of a program Bridges offers.

However, Bridges also recognizes that deciding to full-time homeschool involves many factors that make that option difficult for some. We are prepared to support you in whatever educational decisions you make for your family. This includes providing resources, guidance, and community support to ensure that you feel empowered and informed in your role as a parent in your child's education. Whichever side of the bridge you come from, Bridges desires to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all families, while upholding the uncompromising truth of the Word of God.
